Pro flex Tape was originally for bonding hair pieces and wigs directly to the scalp, it was designed to replace the strong liquid adhesives by offering a longer lasting strong hold but with air holes through it so your scalp would be able to breathe. These are now widely used for bonding fabric-weft extensions to your hair. They can be applied in a much faster time and with considerable less mess than liquid bonds. This method will last between 4-6 weeks.

European Hair is 100% human hair that comes from anywhere in Europe. Most commonly it comes from southern Italy and Spain. European hair has a thinner texture than Asian hair but is just as, if not even more durable and strong than Asian hair. When looked after correctly it can last anywhere up to a year. With all of the cuticles present and in the same direction it is one of the best hair extension types currently available.

Remi Hair.

Remi hair is one of the highest quality real human hair that can be purchased. This is because it is 100% human hair with the cuticles intact giving a beautiful natural look. Remi hair comes from several different locations in the world. Indian hair is the most commonly used as the texture and colour can be easily matched to any ethnic background.. Regardless of the hair’s background, it is the careful removing of the hair which defines Remi hair to any other and therefore it can also be one of the most expensive. However, Remi hair is widely considered to be well worth the price as the quality shows in the beautiful thick shiny hair when it’s applied to your own.

The Remi hair can be broken up into categories:

i) Virgin Remi Hair – hair that has not been coloured or treated in any way so it’s the most natural form of Remi hair.

Pre-Bonded.

Pre bonded hair is when the hair extensions have already got a keratin tip so no glue gun is required. Keratin is insoluble protein that forms the chemical basis of different parts of your body like your skin nails and of course your hair. This is an extremely resilient attachment due to the compatibility of the keratin with your natural hair, making this the most natural of all products used. All of the bonds are cylinder shaped to make them look and feel amazing when attached to your natural hair. They will be heated up and then neatly rolled and pinched before they harden to complete the process. You will get minimal hair loss with this method because the hair extensions are completely secured into the keratin tip before they are attached to your hair. This is a long lasting and very popular technique of hair extension.

Micro Ring Weft.

This method is very quick and simple in comparison the other five methods. We will get a weft hair extension cut to the size and shape of your head. To this we will attach micro rings along the length of the hair extensions. This will then be secured onto your natural hair using the micro rings. No sewing, needles, or threads will be used with this method, and it is a brilliant way to gain that extra volume or length that you have been after.

Secure tracking Weave.

Hair weave is when your natural hair has something called secure tracking done to it and the human hair is sewn onto your natural hair. Having your hair secure tracked is a traditional American technique which involves having your natural hair sewn into neat tracks very close to your head. The hair stylist will use an underhand upwards motion to do this with the end result being your whole hair being sewn/platted. They can position your hair in a range of formations most commonly straight lines. You do not necessarily need your whole head, you may leave out a section of hair if you want a part or half the head. Once your hair is prepared in this way the hair will be braided onto the natural hair. The hair may also be braided into a zig zag shape to make things easier and quicker. A thick thread will be used to attach the hair to your head so it will feel nice and secure. They will sew the hair onto your head horizontally so it will not appear lumpy. Once this is completed as with any hair extension method the hair will be cut and styled to your preference just to make you look perfect. The main benefit of having your hair extensions attached with this method is that you will not be putting any chemical onto your natural hair.
