1. What are the benefits of hair extensions?

2. Will having hair extensions look false?
Absolutely not, all of our hair extensionists are fully trained and qualified hairdressers and hair extension consultants. They then go through a thorough training course with our lead hair extension expert Rachel Baker before she approve them. On your consultation we will take into account your hair texture, colour and condition and then provide you with the best service for your individual needs to make you look even more beautiful.
3. How long do they last?
Hair extensions usually last for 12 months with regular maintenances.
4. Do hair extensions require a lot of work and after care?
You must take care of your extensions but this does not necessarily mean that you will need to take great care of them all the time. You will treat them as you would treat your own hair it may take longer to wash and dry but that is due to your new length.
5. How long does it take to apply extensions?
This depends on whether you’re having a full head, partial head or just a few strands. It can take anything from 30 minutes to 6 hours. On your consultation we will be able to give you a estimate on how long we believe it will take so you’re fully informed on how much time you need to put aside.
6. Can extensions damage my hair?
No, as long as the extensions are applied properly.
7. Can I style my hair extensions?
Yes, you can style your hair just as you would your own.
8. How are hair extensions removed?
Our micro ring hair extensions are removed effortlessly using a removal tool. There are no chemicals or heat used to remove the bonds, and we do not need to touch your own hair with the tools at all. Only the micro ring which makes it harmless to your own hair.
9. Are extensions comfortable to sleep in?
Hair extensions can for a very small percentage of clients be slightly uncomfortable for the first night, but this will ease as the extensions relax.
10. Do extensions damage natural hair?
Extensions can damage the natural hair if they are not looked after and maintained accordingly. Your own hair will be fine as long as you take care of them. We will give you full details of how to look after your hair during our consultation.
11. How long do re-touch appointments take?
Touche up appointments are an hour long every four to eight weeks depending on the speed of your hair growth.
12. Do you use 100% real human hair?
Yes we use 100% human cuticle correct, Russian European hair. Please note all of our hair has been treated from root to tip.
13. Where does human hair come from?
Human hair comes from Russia. The hair then goes through a number of processes such as cleaning, and colouring. After this the hair is graded according to quality, length and colour.
14. Can I still colour my roots with the extensions in?
Yes you can still have your hairline and parting coloured. We would advise for you to colour your hair about 1 week before we apply your hair extensions in then once a removal has taken place you can have your full head coloured ready for another install.
15 Will my hair feel heavy?
You may notice at first an ever so slight difference in weight to your hair because of the added length and volume but this will be short lived.
16. Will there be any adverse effects to my scalp?
Every extension will be applied 2 cm away from your scalp, therefore not inhibiting your hair growth or scalp.
17. Can I get them straight back in after removal?
Yes! As your extensions are safely applied and removed there are no damaging effects to your hair in this process. Why wouldn’t you keep your new look?
18. Do I need to buy expensive after care products?
For all extensions a nylon bristle brush is a necessity. We do recommend a specific professional shampoo, and as the hair is no longer attached at the root it does not receive any nutrients from the scalp, so it is very important to purchase a good conditioner to maintain the hair’s moisture levels. All of which we can sell to you at a low price.
